Project Overview
Each year Bruce Power hosts a party on one of the local beaches in recognition of the surrounding communities and their support towards the nuclear industry. The party features children's activities, NHL alumni appearances, live music, free food, entertainment, and an incredible fireworks show.

Design Rationale
This year, while designing materials for the annual party, I wanted to create a design that would catch people's attention as soon as they pulled it from their mailbox. Since post card mailing to the local community is the main form of advertising for this event, I chose to create a post card replicating something you would receive from a friend or relative on a tropical vacation. The beach areas surrounding the Bruce site are famous for their beautiful sunsets all year round. The post card features one of these breathtaking sunsets, as well as a surfer-style logo to convey the laid-back, fun atmosphere of the evening event.
